TrustMyPaper.com Review of an online essay writing company

Having a full-time job while studying towards a degree leaves little time to do the proper amount of research, reading, writing, and editing that is needed for a quality academic paper. I had two days to deliver a stellar paper on Validity of Objective Writing in a Social Media Age. Since I’m studying towards a degree in Journalism and Media Writing, I needed to provide an article that not only displayed a great amount of in-depth research, but also fantastic writing in an informative and distinctive tone, and that’s when trustmypaper.com came into mind.

Overall Website Experience

There are two things you look for the moment you visit a website. A user-friendly interface and a short, comprehensive explanation of the service, and at first glance, trustmypaper.com didn’t meet these two requirements. The first page of the website is quite dense and filled with a wealth of information – from discount pop-ups and price quotes, to a list of freebies, FAQs, paragraphs on the services and reviews – all thrown at you in one go. I considered closing the page and writing the paper myself. I was stressed enough. I didn’t have the time to wade through what looked like essays of information or constantly close pop-ups when I was trying to find out exactly what I could order. In addition, I picked up some things that concerned me.

Writing and Pricing

  • There are grammatical errors on the website: I wish I was kidding about this. This is an example, taken from the “Services” tab: “We do not stick to any specific type of service, like other companies do. We give our Customers great chance to choose the one they need”.
  • Actual writing: I read through some of the sample writing work and while I understand that academic writing has a formal tone, I needed a service that provided the correct information delivered in a way that is easy-to-read and could be enjoyed by the average reader.
  • Prices: Having someone write paper help doesn’t come cheap, but I was a bit shocked at having to pay upwards of $13 per page. I’m a college student! I can barely afford my rent.
  • Extras: There’s an additional $2.55 per page charge for proofreading. This would be fine if the article had minimal errors, but after a quick online search I found a few reviews from people stating that some sources weren’t quoted and multiple typos were found, the same situation at SuperiorPapers. If I’m paying for the work, I expect typos to be the least of my worries. There’s also a $30 charge to prove that your paper isn’t plagiarized. Doesn’t this come in customer guarantee?

Features and Offers

Eventually I did what, probably, most people do after realising that there’s just too much reading to get through on the first page – I contacted their Live Chat facility. This is one of the best features of the website as it provides 24/7 assistance and their agent responded to me quite quickly. I just needed to know the basics – soonest turnaround time (about eight hours depending on requirements), where to find writing samples, and their ability to take on a specific “writer’s voice” (I needed my article to sound like I wrote it, not someone else, obviously). As helpful as this service was, the chat window was glitchy and kept popping up after I’d completed the chat and closed it down. Seriously, what’s with all these pop-ups?

Ordering a Service

The order form is another useful aspect of the site. You’re able to select the type of service, the format, the number of sources/references that you require and the academic level. You can basically tailor the order to suit your needs.

Customer Reviews

Reviews are generally positive, but do mention the typos.

“Pretty good but could be better.”

I ordered three essays and a third one came with mistypes. I am actually surprised at that. How can a professional writer with a degree mistype?

Conclusion

In the end, I got what I needed. I wouldn’t say that it was written in my writer’s tone and the 2000-word article did have a few errors (I wasn’t going to pay extra for that proofreading). The one pro is that I received my work within one day. This was an extra cost, but I didn’t mind paying. Would I use their services again? Probably not. I’ve now had time to some proper research on companies that assist with article and essay writing and there are better priced and more reliable websites.
